South Dunedin Street Festival 2025

Come and see us at the Wild Dunedin stall for free face painting and to pick up a programme for our Festival which kicks off on 10 April in the school holidays with fun events in nature for all ages.

The Festival goes for 12 days with lots of gardening events and garden tours, deals on wildlife tourism trips, an island treasure hunt, a Wild Night Ball at Larnach Castle, fine dining events and opportunities to sample local gin.

You can also get advice on wildlife photography, tramp around some local landmarks, and join the community event NatureDome at the Forsyth Barr Stadium. Craft events for all ages, scientific talks, a quiz night, nature films - there are fun nature events for all ages, outside in nature and in our museums and libraries.
